Our Potential to Change
with Resident Teacher,
Kadam Deann Bishop
According to Buddha, it is possible for each of us to reach our highest potential. In the midst of our busy lives, we often feel that deep and lasting change is difficult, if not impossible.
This series will focus on the method practices that help us to explore and to experience our inner world. Doing this helps us to gain the skills that serve to connect us to our own capacity for deep changes for our mind and body. We also learn how to use Buddhist teachings immediately in very practical ways which helps us to develop a more peaceful and happy daily life.
Topics to be discussed:
- Vision and Possibility
- The Protection of Forgiveness
- Transformation through Wisdom
- Our Subtle Mind and the Power to Change
- Tantra: Wisdom Mind, Light Body
Each class includes a simple breathing meditation, a short talk on Buddhist thought and a concluding meditation. There is also time to ask questions and discuss.
Classes are open to everyone, regardless of background or experience. No need to register. Come to any class you like!
