Ruth Rowe

Ruth has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism for several years, and she is dedicated to deepening her understanding and experience of Buddha's teachings.
She is currently excited to be assisting the Center's Resident Teacher, Kadam Deann, by teaching the Foundation Program classes and by offering daily pujas at the center.
Nicole Kaltz

Nicole has been studying Kadampa Buddhism for several years and is a Student Teacher for Dharmapala Center. She leads wonderful classes at the Center in Roanoke.
Nicole brings a candid and refreshing light to teaching Dharma, integrating her personal experiences and healing presence.
Barbara Rowe

Barbara resides in Lexington, Virginia, and currently teaches Intro Meditation Classes in Roanoke.
Barbara is also the Foundation Program Coordinator for the Center and is appreciated by all for her warmth and kindness. Barbara teaches with clarity and is a heartfelt and inspiring teacher.
Sherri Spain

Sherri is a senior student who has been studying Kadampa Buddhism for many years. She also serves as the Educational Program Coordinator for Dharmapala Buddhist Center, overseeing all of the programs, classes and community correspondence and publicity.
Sherri teaches with clarity and focus and is appreciated by all for her loving manner and speech.
Sam Golston

Sam is a senior student at Dharmapala Center and has been studying Kadampa Buddhism for a number of years. He is loved for his calm and clear presence and his enthusiasm in leading our Lunchtime guided meditation sessions and teaching Intro Classes.
Wren Starkey
Wren has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for several years, coming to Dharma seeking answers about the true sources of
happiness and suffering. She teaches Intro Meditation Classes for the Center with clarity and a calming presence. Her warm enthusiasm is appreciated by all who attend her teachings. Wren's love for, and dedication to bringing KadamDharma to our community, is also evident in her service as the coordinator and decorator for the Center's meditation center.
